After several hundred preemptive scoldings by the esposa to “not rag out the new car” and “don’t waste all of our gas” I can report that everytime I get in the drivers’ seat the average mpg goes up by no less than 2 miles per gallon. I can also report that my wife has curbed both of my rear wheels already.

So much rage, but maybe I can use this to get another set of preferably black or very dark grey aftermarket wheels and the Mountune 275HP kit.and a set of Recaro front seats... and window tint...and an Oppo sticker....

Oh, well. Curbing is a thing modern cars like to do, though, so that’s not worth finger pointing so much. The MPG, maybe.

I FUCKING HATE double standards. I loathe it with every fiber of my being. It triggers a molecular response of hatred from me.

It is all about superiority, I am not below my partner. i am exactly that a damned partner. I deserve to be treated as such and how dare you go out and do the exact fucking thing you chastise me about literally every time I sit down in the car and shift into gear. i have not even so much as squealed the tires under acceleration with her in the car, they did chirp going through a roundabout on the second day of ownership though.

I get in the car everyday and she has been driving the car for errands/lunch and it is around 23.3mpg i drive home and it is up to 27+ sometimes 28.6

This is a key reason why I don’t like my wife to drive my car. The wheel covers on her Hyundai look like someone took an angle grinder to them.

I’ve hit mid to high 30’s on trips on the freeway, but yeah, I’ve never had better than 24.5 avg for a tank. Which I honestly find a bit annoying since in the mini cooper S I had previously that was tuned and I drove pretty much the same, I would average 30mpg and could go much further on a tank of gas.

It is a super small tank. I keep my second trip monitor going since we bought the car. It shows 26.4 average mpg as of yesterday.

I may just do that. I think it will look outstanding with black or very dark grey multi spoke wheels around 17” but I don’t know anything about wheels outside of forza and need for speed lol

This is all you need to know.

5x108 bolt pattern (think Focus, Fusion, and lots of Volvo models). 55 mm offset, could probably do 45 mm without rubbing. 63.4 mm hub diameter, but you can buy larger and just get centering rings. I bought 17x7.5, which you can mount 235/45R17 tires no problem.
